Quartz worktops are fairly easy to care for. Proper maintenance is essential if you want to keep your kitchen countertops looking their very best! Follow along with The Stone Company for guidance on cleaning your quartz the right way!
Routine for cleaning Quartz Worktops.
Wipe down your worktops with a soft rag and mild dish soap. Use a soft rag or sponge, dip into a solution of warm water and mild soap. Firmly wipe down the Quartz worktops.
Scrape away and dried on food or residue. Any extra build up of dried on material should be carefully removed with a plastic scraper or putty knife. We recommend you keep a small scraper handy in your kitchen for this very task.
Use a mild degreaser for any stubborn grease that remains. Take your degreasing agency and spray generously across your quartz countertops. Make sure that this solution is bleach free, bleach may effect the finish and tone of your Quartz, it should be avoided. Removing Stubborn stains from your Quartz worktops...
If you are left with a really tough stain you will need some adhesive remover, take a wet rag or cloth and use a cleaner like Goo Gone. Our the solution directly onto the stain and let it sit for 5 – 10 minutes before wiping away. Once you have shifted the stain, take a fresh cloth and warm water, wipe the entire surface to make sure that all residue has been removed.As always we recommend that you contact your local quartz supplier if you are worried about deep cleaning your quartz.
