At The Stone Company, we recently completed a stunning Calacutta Gold Quartz worktop installation in Bishop’s Stortford, Hertfordshire. This project perfectly highlights the elegance and durability of our premium quartz surfaces, combining timeless design with exceptional craftsmanship.

The Project
Our client wanted a bright, luxurious feel with a standout island that tied together traditional shaker cabinetry and modern brass finishes. Calauatta Gold Quartz was the ideal choice, offering a crisp white background with soft grey and golden veining that elevates any kitchen style.
We fabricated and installed our Calacutta Gold Quartz with an ogee edge profile. The large surface serves as both a functional workspace and a striking centrepiece. Matching quartz worktops were also fitted throughout the kitchen to ensure a cohesive, high-end finish.

The Result
The finished kitchen feels elegant, warm, and full of character. The Calacutta Gold Quartz worktops complement the white cabinetry and herringbone flooring beautifully, creating a light, inviting space that’s perfect for family living and entertaining.

This Bishop’s Stortford kitchen project is a great example of how our bespoke quartz worktop installations can transform homes across Hertfordshire, Essex, and Cambridgeshire, blending luxury, practicality, and expert craftsmanship.
